TERMS & CONDITIONS

Ho-Ho-Hobart Christmas Choir – terms and conditions of booking the choir
Last updated:  16 June 2022 - these terms and conditions will be updated for our next season.

By making a booking for the Ho-Ho-Hobart Christmas Choir to sing at your event, it will be assumed that you agree with and accept these terms and conditions.
1. If you accept a quote and book the Ho-Ho-Hobart Christmas Choir, we will immediately invoice you for a non-refundable deposit (25% of the total fee quoted and agreed). Until the deposit is paid the choir is not 'locked in' or confirmed for the performance.
2. If, after paying your deposit, you cancel a booking less than two weeks (14 calendar days) before a performance is due to commence, you will be liable for, and will be invoiced for, 100% of the agreed fee for service. Any deposit previously paid by you in relation to the booking will be taken into account when calculating the amount owing.
3. The Ho-Ho-Hobart Christmas Choir will not be held responsible or liable for any event or occurrence outside its control which leads to the cancellation of a booked performance or an event. Of course this includes (but is not limited to) the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. That being said, of course we’ll do everything we can to help you if you face unforeseen challenges or if you’re forced to change your event’s time, location or logistical details.
4. Notwithstanding the above, the Ho-Ho-Hobart Christmas Choir will not perform in any location where the choir's conductor or members feel that their personal safety or wellbeing may be compromised or threatened (e.g. extreme weather events, lack of shade from sun, equipment hazards, risk of physical harm, lack of attention to COVID-safety for our singers, etc), and will not be held responsible or liable for a cancellation in these circumstances. It’s important to note here that we do take up a bit more space than we used to (due to COVID-safe distancing), and that we favour outside, spacious and/or well-ventilated performance locations rather than indoor and/or crowded venues. Our singers are also given the option of performing in masks.
5. Following the choir’s performance, the Ho-Ho-Hobart Christmas Choir will send you an invoice for the balance of the agreed fee.
6. All deposit and balance invoices presented by the Ho-Ho-Hobart Christmas Choir are to be paid by you within 14 calendar days of receipt - our method of invoice transmission is usually via email and we accept electronic bank transfer, cheque or cash as methods of payment.
7. If repeated efforts by the Ho-Ho-Hobart Christmas Choir to obtain payment for outstanding invoices are unsuccessful, we will exercise the right to refer the matter to a commercial debt collection agency, after providing you with written (email) notification of such action being taken.
8. We reserve the right to refuse a booking request or enquiry from any event organiser or potential client for any reason we deem appropriate.
